Who We Are
A Place Called Om Tribe
Owner/ Certified Yoga Instructor
Jennifer is the studio owner and developer of this tight knit community of healers. Her desire is to serve the community and thrive in the journey into the unknown. She believes that through our darkest struggles we illuminate our most powerful light. Within her is a fire that illuminates even the darkest corners.
Her classes come from her spirit and her stories. Come prepared to laugh, possibly hear the f bomb or shed a tear.
After an extensive career in a managerial position as a business professional, Annie was drawn into the world of light workers and healers. She has been a receiver of energy healings, specifically Reiki, for 15 years and knows that it has changed her core being. In May of 2019 she earned her Reiki Master and is now ready to share her skills with her community.

Laura Normile earned a Master of Arts degree in East-West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her passion for exploring new ways of healing and devotion to alleviating suffering inspired the creation of a holistic practice called Psychosomatic Journey®. Psychosomatic Journey® is a creative, intuitive process designed to support an individual's capacity to heal their psycho-emotional wounds and decrease the emotional intensity of painful memories. During Psychosomatic Journey® we create an alternative experience of the painful past event that inspires a sense of resolution, healing, empowerment, and supports the release of heavy emotions.
Liscensed Massage Therapist
Hi. I'm Nancy Schramek. I went to the Fingerlakes School of Massage and graduated in 1997. It was the best thing I ever did. I love my work. Helping clients get their knots out, facilitating them to relax and reminding them they're receiving, is so important to me. So many women and men give to so many all day, a massage is an opportunity to fill up your well. I do a deeper swedish massage with a mix of other modalities.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you.

Certified Master Instructor for IET
Barbara is the Managing Director of the Center of Being, home to Integrated Energy Therapy®. She holds an AS in Transformational Psychology and a BS in Wellness and Fitness.
It was through her studies that she gained the love and passion for alternative holistic therapies. She is a certified Master-Instructor for IET®, Life Coach, Guided Imagery Coach, Mind, Body, Fitness Coach, Holistic Wellness Coach and Reiki Practitioner.
Barbara works with students and clients to empower them to engage in self-care. She helps them understand that it is in their power to create the life they want and they are in control of how they feel. Her work includes a mixture of techniques so that each student and/or client walks away with a toolbox of simple techniques they can use to improve the mental, emotional and physical wellness. It's all about education and realizing confidence is as simple as knowing we are capable of anything with the right mindset. It is the time to get those "issues out of your tissues" and live the life you love and love the life you live.
She began this path over 15 years ago, when her own life was at rock bottom. Losing both parents to cancer and three siblings in a short period brought her to very dark place. It was through her studies and incorporating the techniques she was learning that her life shifted in unexpected ways. She owes everything she has and who she has become to the techniques that are in her toolbox.
Certified Jaguar Path and Yoga Instructor
After practicing law for 35 years, Sarah retired from the NYS Department of Health in 2010 to pursue less linear approaches to good health. She is a 30 plus year yoga practitioner focused on Kripalu yoga for my personal practice. Sarah is a RYT-200, registered with Yoga Alliance. Her 200-hour training is in Jaguar Path Yoga, a vigorous vinyasa practice that fuses elements of yoga with elements of Peruvian shamanism. She holds a certificate from Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga, which she's been teaching for several years. She is also certified to teach yin yoga, holding at 50-hour certificate from Jamtse School of Yoga.
She is a Level II Usui Reiki practitioner; a teacher of the Munay-ki (www.Munay-ki.org); a Certified Hypnotist (National Guild of Hypnotists); as well as shamanic practitioner, and she uses all of these modalities in my yoga teaching practice.
She am a ceremonialist who can bring people to a relationship with spirit, through fire ceremonies and other sacred approaches such as Despacho. She expresses herself otherwise as a gardener, hiker and crafts person. She is a student of many paths, believing that there are no “wrong” paths, just different ones.
My challenge to each: “What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?”
